Camping/fishing in Bishop, CA. Our family, along with the grandparents, Jason and Laura's family spent 4 days in the wilderness. Let's not exaggerate now ... we "camped" in a cabin. The kids slept in a tent just outside. It was a fun weekend, tiresome but fun. I think between the fishermen, fisherwomen and fisher-kids, we caught a total of 36 little fishies. Bryan caught the most and Ali pulled in one. We sat by the fire pit outside everynight after dinner, chatted, made smores and tried to point out constellations and spot shooting stars. During the day we fought off the mosquitos (I only got 3 bites thanks to Repel), fished and lounged around the cabin.

The trees, the stream, the rocks ... all so pretty. And got a picture of father and son!

Our first little fishy caught by Grandpa Dennis!

I really wish someone would think to pick up the camera and take candid pictures of me playing with the girls or doing my own thing. **Sigh** But I guess for now I'll deal with the posed pictures that I ask Bryan to take of me.

My two little angels! It's been a fun summer for Autumn ... she loves hanging out with "sissy"!

Day 2 - Are you Smarter Than a 5th Grader.
Ali and I ventured to the CBS studios and watched 2 episodes of an extremely long, extremely boring game show taping. It was a great experience, but I would not recommend this activity.

Day 3 - Wall-e at the El Capitan, Hollywood
It was Autumn's first trip to the movie theatre. Ali, Auti and I were joined by Laura and her two kids, Emily and Joseph. Autumn loved the 20 minute stage show prior to the movie, but during the movie she just couldn't sit still. On my lap, then she wanted to sit in the seat next to me. It was so nostalgic to see the seat fold up under her little legs ... not weighing enough to hold down the bottom portion of the seat. I can remember sitting next to my mom in the movie theatre and annoyingly push the seat up and down to hear the "squeek, squeek". The older kids loved Wall-e ... it really is a great movie. Half way during the film, I took Auti outside to explore the little shop next door.

I don't realize how quickly Autumn is growing up until I see a picture like this. My baby!
